These air fryer Parmesan pork chops are perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. A quick and easy weeknight dinner that will convert even the biggest pork chop skeptics.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (smoked preferred)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  2. Set up a dredging station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each pork chop first in flour (shaking off excess), then in egg wash, then press into the Parmesan-panko mixture until fully coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Place the coated pork chops in a single layer without touching.
  6. Spray the tops of the pork chops lightly with olive oil spray. Cook at 375°F for 8 minutes.
  7. Flip the pork chops carefully with tongs. Spray the other side lightly with oil. Cook for another 6-8 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  8. Let the pork chops rest on a cooling rack or plate for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t skip the resting time—it keeps the pork juicy. Watch for hot spots in your air fryer and rotate chops if needed. For extra crunch, double-coat by dipping in egg wash and Parmesan mixture a second time.
