These quick and easy turkey pinwheel wraps are perfect for lunchboxes, potlucks, or a fast snack. Made with simple ingredients like cream cheese, deli turkey, and spinach, they come together in under five minutes and are always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (8-inch) flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 68 slices deli turkey per wrap
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 handful fresh spinach leaves
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese: Take the cream cheese out of the fridge 15 minutes before starting, or microwave for 10-15 seconds on low power until soft but not melted.
  2. Make the spread: In a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese with ranch dressing, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  3. Lay out the tortilla: Place one tortilla flat on a cutting board. Spread a thin, even layer of the cream cheese mixture all the way to the edges.
  4. Layer the fillings: Lay 2-3 slices of turkey flat on the bottom third of the tortilla, overlapping slightly. Sprinkle shredded cheddar over the turkey, then add a small handful of spinach leaves.
  5. Roll it tight: Starting at the bottom edge, roll the tortilla away from you as tightly as possible without tearing. Use fingers to tuck in the filling as you go. Press gently to seal the seam.
  6. Wrap and chill (optional but recommended): Wrap the rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap or parchment paper. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to firm up the cream cheese for cleaner slicing.
  7. Slice into pinwheels: Unwrap the chilled roll and place on a cutting board. Using a serrated knife, slice into 1-inch thick rounds using a gentle sawing motion. Each tortilla yields about 6-8 pinwheels.
  8. Arrange and serve: Place pinwheels cut side up in a lunchbox or on a platter. Serve cold or at room temperature.

Notes

For best results, pat turkey dry with a paper towel to prevent sogginess. Chilling the roll before slicing yields cleaner pinwheels. If tortilla cracks, press it back together—the cream cheese will seal it. Ugly pinwheels are the cook’s privilege to eat!
